Our philosophy at Dominic Smith Electrical is that we don't charge for local deliveries on multiple purchases however there are occasions when we will be required to charge a fee on single items.
Please feel free to discuss your delivery options with our sales team.
We deliver nationwide Monday - Friday.
For smaller items we can send by post or courier. We'll work with you to deliver earlier or later as desired.
You can check the progress of your order by calling either of our stores in Gorey (053 94 84444) or Dundrum (01 296 5511) or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org at any time.
We do everything we can to meet delivery dates and times however on occasions due to factors beyond our control items may be delivered later than expected.
We will contact you immediately should there be a change in your delivery times. Any additions or alterations made to orders may affect delivery dates.
All prices illustrated do not include Delivery Charge or Installation Fee.
Where do you deliver?
- Zone A: Dublin, Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow, Cavan, Monaghan & Meath.
- Zone B: Munster, Connacht, Donegal, Louth, Westmeath, Kildare, Offaly & Longford.
Installation & Delivery service available in Zone A counties Monday to Saturday. Nationwide delivery available from Zone B Counties & Provinces.

When will it be delivered?
Your item will be delivered within 3-5 working days. Although we always strive to deliver before this.
How much is delivery to a store?
- In Store Collection for a large appliance is free.
- In Store Collection for a small appliance is free.
*Please note that your item may need to be transferred to your chosen store for collection. Transfer to a store is still 3-5 working days. You will be contacted when your item is ready for collection.
*Orders made after 1pm may take an additional working day*
Our standard deliveries in Zone A will be contacted via SMS or phone call with a 2-hour window. Zone B (Nationwide) deliveries will be between the hours of 8am – 6pm. A signature will be required upon all deliveries.
Will you collect my old appliance?
Yes, On delivery of a large appliance we’ll collect your old appliance for free on a like for like basis. ie if you order a washing machine, we'll take away your old one for free. Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected and ready for removal.
Online Click and Collect Information
Choose to get your order delivered to one of our stores located in Cavan, Dundrum & Gorey. Click 'Collect in Store' on Checkout and choose the store which you would like to collect from. Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to arrive in-store. You will receive a phone call from our web team to confirm your order is ready for collection.
Once you have placed your order for collection
- You will receive an email confirming we have received your order.
- Your Order will be processed by our web team.
- You will receive a phone call from a member of staff to confirm that your order is ready for pick up.
You must provide the following documents when collecting in-store. Items will only be released to the card holder.
- Photo ID (Only your passport and drivers’ licence will be accepted.
- Proof of Address (Utility bill or Bank statement)
- A copy of your confirmation email.
What happens if I miss my delivery?
For large items, if nobody is home to accept the delivery, it will be returned to our warehouse and a re-delivery will be scheduled.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods which we have delivered to you or that you have collected from any of our stores, to ensure that all products are of acceptable quality and as described. We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the unopened goods to us and we will organise a refund.
